Parents are expected to be cooperative to the school authorities in enforcing regularity and discipline. Please see that the children leave their homes in time to be punctual in school, that they prepare the works assigned to them at home are provided with the necessary books and stationery.
Parents have to notice the occasional reports and recommendations from teachers which are made in the school diary. They have to sign on the respective pages, as a proof that they have read it.
Parents or guardians or other persons are not allowed to see the children or to meet the teachers during the working hours without the permission of the principal. Members of the staff can be met only during their free hours by previous appointment or during the recess.
Except for parents, brothers and sisters, no outsiders are permitted in the school compound.
Parents themselves should come and meet the Principal or teachers. The principal and teachers will deal only with the parents and not any other relatives or employees.
Any communication (request/complaint) made by the parent should be addressed to the principal and not to the class teacher. All correspondence from the school to the parents must go through the principal and vice versa.
No gift of any kind to a teacher is allowed without the previous consent of the principal.
Private tuitions are strongly discouraged. In case a student genuinely needs additional guidance, please consult the matter with the principal.
The school calendar should be brought to the school every day. Parents should go through it daily and the sign the remarks if any.
The examination results should be scrutinized and signed by the parents.
Parents are specially requested to inform the school of any change in their address.
The school will not be responsible for the loss, damage or robbery of a pupil’s belongings. It is not advisable for pupils to bring money or valuable articles unnecessarily to school.
Parents are informed that their children are liable to be sent home, by the principal for any of the following reasons:
Not wearing the correct uniform or identity card
Not having the report card signed, when required.
Not having a remark made by the principal/class teacher in the calendar, signed by the parent or guardian.
Not being in time for assembly or class.
Repeatedly forgetting to bring books.
Parents are expected to go through and be familiar with the rules and regulations of this school given in the diary and the website from time to time through circulars.
Parents are reminded that the school authorities reserve the right to prescribe conditions for admitting or restraining a child in the school. The decision of the principal is final and indisputable regarding fees, evaluation of answer papers, allotment of marks, progress and promotion etc.
A parent’s misbehaviour in his/her speech and deeds can result in the child’s dismissal from the school.
